The Advance DeepL Translation module enhances Odoo by enabling fast, accurate, and automated translation across multiple languages. Odoo DeepL Integration allows users to translate selected records from list or form view using DeepL’s neural translation engine, supporting bulk processing and background translation through asynchronous queue jobs. This module ensures multilingual readiness without manual copy–paste or spreadsheet based translation management.
Features- • Translate Button on Form & List Views: The module adds a Translate button to both form and list views, enabling users to translate single or multiple records quickly without navigating through additional menus.
- • Interactive Translation Wizard: A simple wizard appears after clicking Translate, allowing users to choose target languages easily and ensuring controlled, intentional translation actions.
- • Background Translation via Queue Jobs: Translations run asynchronously using queue_job, preventing UI blocking and allowing users to continue working even during large translation tasks.
- • Bulk Translation Support: Users can translate hundreds of records at once directly from the list view, making multilingual catalog or content preparation fast and efficient.
- • Automatic Translatable Field Detection: The system automatically identifies all fields marked as translatable, including char, text, HTML, and selection fields, plus one-to-many fields up to one level deep.
- • Safe Handling of Unsupported Fields: Fields like many2one, many2many, and deep relational structures are skipped automatically, ensuring safe and accurate translation without affecting non-textual data.
- • DeepL Auto Language Detection: DeepL automatically detects the source language, removing the need for manual identification and improving translation accuracy.
- • Multi-Company API Key Support: Each company can configure its own DeepL API key, ensuring clean separation of usage and configuration across multi-company environments.

- • Supports Custom & Studio Fields: Any translatable custom fields (including Studio-generated fields) are included automatically, maintaining compatibility across extended Odoo environments.

- The Advanced DeepL Translation plugin is an add-on module of the DeepL Translate plugin and does not function as a standalone plugin. Therefore, please ensure that you purchase and install both of the plugins together to use this extension successfully.
