1. Introduction

3. Working

i. Install the Voice Search Module

Install the plugin to enable voice search functionality on your Odoo e-commerce store.

ii. Activate Voice Search

Click the microphone icon located in the search box on the e-commerce page to begin voice input.

iii. Search Using Voice
  • Verbally state the product or item you wish to search for.

  • Search will start automatically in 3 seconds, or you can press Enter/search button.

iv. Reset Search Input
  • If you wish to reset the search, say "Reset," or click the "X" in the search box to clear the query.

  • Technical Requirements:
    • Odoo E-commerce and Website modules must be installed and enabled. 
  • Compatibility:
    • Compatible with Odoo v19 Community and Enterprise Editions.
  • Supported Browsers for Google Web Speech API:
    • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge
